2. Something that inspires you

Everything. Everything inspires me.

People. Great people, funny people, weird people, poor people..everyone is so unique!

Okay so I'll be a little more specific than that, if I can.
My favorite kind of dancing is modern dance
I like all kinds of music, from instrumental to folk rock
My favorite book is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.

What inspires me most is people who are true to themselves and try to make a difference based on their beleifs, no matter what they are. So cool.

Aaaaaand, I really like this quote:
"Let me be something every minute of every hour of my life. Let me be gay; let me be sad; let me be hungry...have too much to eat. Let me be honorable and let me sin. Only let me be something every blessed minute. And when I sleep, let me dream all the time so that not one little piece of living is ever lost." -Francie Nolan (From a Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith)

Pizza with chocolate on it.......?

1. Guilty Pleasure

I live a very exciting life, mostly because I take a lot of pleasure in the inconsequential and ridiculous things. Most of these I don't feel guilty about. But maybe some...I should?

Let's see.

I like chewing on the ends of pens. It probably makes me look like a toddler, but it might also make me look intelligent. Sometimes I get really into it, and then realize people are staring at me, and have to tone it down a little. Embarrassing. And I'm not even teething.

I like eating pizza. A lot. If I was forced to eat nothing but pizza for the rest of my life I would (guiltily) feel glad for an excuse to give in.

I like listening to music and staring off into space virtually "wasting" 2 or 3 hours at a time. Right now I'm listening to Bob Dylan and the Tallest Man on Earth. So beautiful. But I'm also typing, see? Killing two birds with one stone. I feel productive.

I like pulling off my split ends. It makes me look like I'm not paying attention in church or class, but I am, I really am.

Chocolate is really good. Really good. I don't really let myself near it.

When somebody asks me a question, 99% of the time I am tempted to lie and make up some really funny/amazing story. Not because I like tricking people, but because it's fun to pretend. Don't worry. 75% of the time I stop myself and actually tell the straight truth. But seriously. I had to learn the hard way, to tell people when I'm joking :)

That's it :)

30 days.

Yes, yes, the title of my blog is indeed stolen from none other than J.K. Rowling herself. But not word for word if you think about it. To back me up, I will now post a quote from one Pablo Picasso, "Good artists borrow, great artists steal."

And yeah, I pretty much just called myself great. Not on purpose actually, but I'm not gonna take it back ;)

Okay so now I need to admit that I was not born with the talent of Blog-Writing. I'm sorry. I knew that might come as a shock to many. You may think that one who has kept a journal since she was 6 and who has decided to major in English Education would feel somewhat comfortable typing up her thoughts to send into the Cosmos known as the World Wide Net. (Net as in......internet). But no. No, "blogging" is a different art all together. Bogging is like having a conversation with somebody who's not actually THERE. It's kind of a weird sensation...

Anyway, what really inspired me to start this log of personal thought was Julia's blog. And Cara, in a round about way. Because Cara gave this survey to Julia, who then proceeded to follow it. And now I, possibly motivated by incredibly large ego, am going to attempt to follow the survey. Here it is: Thirty prompts for thirty days.
